SEAT, that is Spanish passion and love for car building. The dynamic car manufacturer primarily serves customers with sporty aspirations. In the 2010s, SEAT revised its model range and modernised its design. Since then, the focus has been on a clearly structured product range that impresses not only with design, performance and quality, but also with an exceptional price-performance ratio.

A Spanish success story

SEAT - Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo S.A. - was founded in 1950, with shares from Fiat among others. Seven years later, the SEAT 600 is presented, which for many Spaniards will be their first car. With an increase from 5 to almost 2000 vehicles produced per day, the brand becomes one of the most important car manufacturers in Europe within the next two decades.

After a rift with Fiat in 1980 and thus the end of the 30-year cooperation, a new era finally dawns for the Spanish carmaker:

- In 1982, SEAT introduces its new corporate logo, which is still familiar today.

- 1984: the birth of the SEAT Ibiza, which is now available on the market in its fifth generation.

- 1986: a merger with Volkswagen AG follows. A few years later VW takes over the Spanish company.

Today, SEAT stands for sporty individuality, outstanding comfort and everyday practicality in the urban jungle.
