The Fulvia competed in the official World Rally Championship in 1970 and won the first world championship title two years later. In the Monte Carlo Rally, Lancia automobiles even took victory more than ten times, thus immortalising the role of the Italian automobile manufacturer in motorsport. The Delta Integrale is considered one of the most important rally cars in the world.
