The birth of an Italian classic


The Fiat brand was founded in Turin in 1899. Although the first model, the 3.5 HP, was only produced 24 times, it formed the basis for the development of all subsequent vehicles of the brand.

In addition to producing small cars, Fiat was also very successful in motor racing for almost 30 years at the beginning of the 20th century before deciding to focus significantly on the production of mass-produced vehicles.

Probably the best-known model that owes its existence to this decision is the Fiat 500. The latest version of the subcompact has been in production since 2007 and continues to enjoy great popularity, especially as a practical city car.
